Life is hard. Going to school is not easy; dealing with “uptight” parents is not easy; having shitty friends is not easy. But having your parents divorce that’s hard. Finding out your mother has cancer, that’s hard. Watching your father be alone after your mother left, that’s hard. Having your mother far away while going through chemo that’s hard. But then your father meets someone, and your mother beats the cancer, that makes it a little easier. Finding out your mother still has cancer and must go through chemo again… that’s harder. Finding out how your father has treated your mother after she left. That’s harder. Again, your mother gets better, making it easier. Pushing the ridiculousness of your family dynamic to the back of your mind, makes things a lot easier. Going to school, planning a wedding, working all at once makes things difficult, but manageable. Finding out your father is going to force your mother to pay for a wedding dress he promised to pay for and she can’t afford is hard, but having your sister stand up to your father makes things easier.

But finding out your mother has a tumor in her head, that she has 6-12 months to live that’s hard. Knowing your mother will never get to hold your children. That’s hard. Knowing when you need her, either for a recipe or when life seems to get a little bit harder, and she won’t be there to answer the phone. That’s hard. Having to go through the rest of your life without her. That’s impossible. This will never get easier.

What if I’m having a really bad day? Like I just found out my mom was dying. Not like in the hospital dying, but like she has 6 months to live dying. So I can’t just quit school because I still have time, but the likely hood of my ,mother being alive this time next year is unlikely. Will you still never talk to me?

Orca whales are mean motherfuckers. They cruise the oceans with only two things in mind: one, having sex, and two, eating every poor fuck they find out there that’s smaller than them. They are such badass motherfuckers that even great white motherfucking sharks don’t dare fuck with them, which in my books, places them above the sperm whale as Biggest Badass of the Ocean. And why don’t sharks bother them, you may wonder? Because orcas fucking learned that if you flip a shark over they go into a sort of coma, so now they do it intentionally so they can eat the motherfucking sharks. Not only that, but orcas have also learned how to hunt sperm whales and motherfucking sea birds.

The orca whale lives in a matriarchal pod. Every pod has unique hunting methods and whatnot, which is passed down from parent to offspring- these scary fuckers have formed civilizations. And what do they do for fun, apart from hopping around on the water’s surface and grinning like crazy mofos? They hunt for fun, going so far as to tip over ice floes and beach themselves just for the thrill of killing.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Orca whales are too damn cute and smiley looking to be heartless predators of the sea. Well, let me counter-argue with this photo:

A not-so-wise man one told me “Never Bullshit a Bullshitter.” Ever sense that point I believed everything he said in person but in my mind, knew everything that came out of his mouth is complete crap. And so, I bring to you, a thought for the day.

If you get your kicks out of telling people complete bullshit and then get tickled pink when they believe it, what is wrong with you? I never understood how people laughed when either, someone didn’t know something (nobody knows everything), or someone took truth in the turkey turds coming out of your mouth. Shouldn’t you feel more ashamed that they believed you, they put their full trust in you to tell them the honest truth, and you have just lied to them. Not a practical joke, a straight up lie. Nobody believes a bullshitter anyway. This man has completely lost my faith in his information, even if it’s honest I never use him as a source of information. Do you want to be that person that nobody believes? They don’t come to you with anything because you will just make up some pigeon poop and they will have to carry on frustrated.

On the other hand, being a bullshitter, you are constantly suspicious of everyone around you telling complete…. fecal matter. This man hardly believes anything I say because he just assumes that I am trying to get back at him. Yes I will be sarcastic sometimes, but when you begin to classify yourself as a “Bullshitter” that’s when you have a problem.

So now you’d be sitting there, telling explosive diarrhea to everyone and not believing a thing you hear. Where is the trust factor in society? We have screwed ourselves over so much that we can’t even trust each other, perhaps that is mother natures ultimate plan to wipe us out for good, we will all end up just stabbing each other in the back.

None the less I have taken it upon myself, who would else do this (it just sounded like a nice phrase), to start a “General Kindness” pledge. So far it is just me, and after school I want to start spreading the word about this natural occurrence that has some how died out in our society.

Generally, just be nice. To every one. I am a strong believer that nobody is any better than any one else, ever, for any reason. (Okay so I know like people who kill people for respect, or those who rape people, those who abuse their fellow man (women, men, children) don’t really count in this.) That low line waitress who needs to get a “better job,” does not deserve you’re snide comments about how her service was just a little off, if they are incompetent, or a food order was simply mixed around, we are not perfect. You are not perfect. Society needs to take it’s foot out of it’s but and realize that there is no top dog. Barrack Obama is no better than me, and I am no better than Pete (a homeless man I met bagging for money). We look at life like we are all just trying to live, survival of the fittest and all that. No. A cannibalistic animal will still defend it’s own kind when attacked. We should just adopt that behavior, aside from eating each other.

All in all what I basically am trying to say is:

RULE 18: General Kindness. It doesn’t matter who they are, what they do, there is no way, from hell to heaven and back to earth, they are better than you.
